Celebrate a Birthday with FYP!

Celebrating your big day? How about your pet's birthday? Turn it into something fabulous by supporting LGBTQ+ youth!

LGBTQ+ youth are navigating an increasingly hostile environment, but you can make a difference by rallying your friends and family members to defend life-saving legal support. The Free to Be Youth Project will work with you to set up a personalized fundraising page dedicated to the special day!

We set it up. You share it out. Queer youth benefit!

How it works:

Set-Up: Our team sets up a personalized fundraising page dedicated to you or your pets' special day, using graphics that match your style. (See examples above.)

Share Out: You send the link to friends, family members, coworkers, and other members of your community.

Optional: Post the fundraising link on Instagram and Facebook with our birthday fundraiser graphics and/or photos that represent why you are supporting the FYP.

Stay In Touch: The smallest donations have the biggest impact. We will keep you updated on how your efforts change the lives of clients in need.

The Free to Be Youth Project is one of the only legal services providers in the country that serves unhoused and at-risk LGBTQ+ youth. This past year, we provided 150+ youth and young adults (ages 14-24) in New York City with free and confidential legal services and conducted over two dozen Know-Your-Rights workshops.
